Care procedures

In an age of striving for eternal youth and ideal standards of beauty, facial skin care has long been an integral part of every woman’s life. But modern men also want to look equally fresh and well-groomed. Qualitative and systematic care is the key to young, radiant, clean, smooth and healthy skin!

Cleansing, exfoliation, toning and moisturizing the skin are considered mandatory steps in the care process. All these procedures must be selected according to skin type, health condition and age. The facial massage procedure should also be kept in mind. During the session, your blood circulation improves and your skin receives more nutrients and oxygen. During the pre-consultation, the specialists at the RELAXIS salon will prepare a care protocol individually for each client.

Facial cleansing

Facial cleansing is aimed at deep cleaning of pores, elimination of acne and eel rashes. The cleaning procedure can be mechanical, ultrasonic or combined.

The mechanical cleaning is performed with hands and mechanical tools. It is used to remove impurities more thoroughly and unconditionally.

The ultrasonic cleaning is a device method for cleaning pores. Its advantages are speediness and painlessness.

The combination cleaning is, respectively, the usage of mechanical and ultrasonic cleaning.

The type of cleaning chosen directly depends on the condition of the skin.

Peeling

The essence of the peeling procedure is to exfoliate old and horny cells of the epidermis and stimulate the formation of new ones. The peeling is perceived by our skin as a damage, causing the production of proteins: collagen and elastin, which are responsible for the firmness, elasticity and youthfulness of the skin. After peeling, moisturizing procedures are much better perceived and home care is more effective.

According to the classification, peelings are divided into superficial, middle and deep. Peelings also differ in their composition. Cosmetologists at our salon will help you select peelings suitable for your skin type, age and the condition of your skin.

Carboxy therapy

Carboxy therapy is a procedure which aims to eliminate oxygen deficiency in skin cells. With time, the oxygen level drops and it leads to skin ageing. The essence of carboxytherapy is in the stimulation of blood flow, breaking down subcutaneous fat by carbon dioxide and activating the formation of new collagen fibres. Carboxy therapy is a universal procedure which is prescribed to solve many skin problems.

Massage

Facial massage is a worthy replacement for injection methods of rejuvenating and toning the skin. It improves blood circulation, triggers regeneration processes and keeps the skin smooth, young and supple. With the help of massage, the face oval becomes lifted, swelling is reduced and folds and wrinkles are smoothing out. It is recommended to take a full course of massage from 10 procedures and then a maintenance session 1-2 times a month. There are several massage techniques:

– The Classical

This technique is used to maintain skin tone, dehydration and shallow wrinkles.

– BMS machine massage

BMS or biomechanical muscle stimulation consists in vibrating the skin which improves elasticity, tones muscle cells, normalises metabolic processes and increases blood circulation.

– Cryo massage with cold spheres

The cold at first causes a sharp spasm in the blood vessels, and then their expansion. This stimulates blood flow and speeds up the metabolic processes.

– Neurosedative

Neurosedative (relaxing) massage works with the organism’s nervous system. The technique aims to adapt the body to stressful situations and to relieve the direct effects of stress.

– Lifting

A lifting massage returns clear facial contours, removes fine lines and firms the skin.

– Facial massage by Jacques

This massage is performed by plucking technique and it is intended for oily and combination skin, giving a visible lifting effect.

Cares

The cosmetologists of the RELAXIS salon have developed several author’s care packages for different skin types. They can be performed as a separate procedure or combined with a facial cleansing or massage. This is a cleansing, vitamin-based treatment, revitalising, rejuvenating and oxygenating care. Being in the midst of severe environmental pollution every day, our skin needs more care and attention, which can provide it with all necessary nutrients and vitamins.

Alginate masks

Due to its properties and visible effect, the alginate mask is very popular with cosmetologists. The basis of its composition is alginic acid and its salts: these components stimulate collagen production, rejuvenate and nourish deep layers of the epidermis. The alginate mask in its purest form produces a good lifting effect. The masks differ in composition, indications and consistency. Salon specialists will select the appropriate mask according to your individual requirements.
